Last summer on the Standart

Where are they sailing that they need coats, hats and scarves like this on summer? Definately not on the Black Sea, but is Baltic Sea really that cold on summer? Maybe it's early spring in this picture, which explains how they are dressed for cold weather(snow usually completely melts very late spring in Finland(forest floor might be covered in snow well into summer)).
I like the colors you picked for the girls outfits. The pink suits Maria well, but the darker colors on Anastasia make her seem older than Maria. I think it's mostly the pastel pink on Maria compared to the brick red on Anastasia, pink is such girly color, while brick red has more mature connotation to me at least. The fact that Anastasia sits on something and thus appears to be around same height as her sisters also helps to disguise how young and tiny she was.
I really love the shade of blue you picked for Tatiana and how she has purple scarf. I also really love these frill-fronted shirts the girls started to wear around this time, there are so many pictures of them wearing shirts like this, with skirts, cardigans and hats.
I find it funny how each of them seems to have different hat, Marias has that tail, Tatianas hat tail seems to be tucked under the turned up part(or it's actually a scarf/turban) and Anastasias has that knit ribbing on the edge.
